7 ways to wear: summer trench coat

Es ist wieder so weit und eine neue Woche „7 ways to wear“ hat gestartet! Das Thema diese Woche lautet Sommer Trenchcoats und so kommt mein duster coat von Asos mal wieder ins Spiel. Ein sommerlicher Mantel mit geradem Schnitt und auch sonst keinem Schnickschnack – ein Kleidungsstück, das so gut wie immer passt. Die mittlerweile etwas kühleren Sommerabende werden durch ihn erträglicher und er passt einfach hervorragend zu so gut wie jedem Outfit.

Den Rest des Outfits hab ich wie gewöhnlich schlicht und minimalistisch gehalten und seit langem wieder eine Bleistiftrock-Sneaker Kombination getragen. Mit Bleistiftröcken ist das finde ich so eine Sache – man sieht einfach sehr schnell super elegant aus, auch wenn es wie in meinem Fall ein Basic-Rock aus T-Shirt Stoff ist. Deshalb kombiniere ich ihn am liebsten mit Sneakers oder Birkenstocks, also quasi dem krassen Gegenteil. So wirkt das Outfit nicht nur weniger elegant, sondern ist definitiv auch viel gemütlicher – denn darauf kommt’s bei mir in letzter Zeit am meisten an: auf die Gemütlichkeit!

Another week of our 7 ways to wear series has started and this week is all about the summer trench coat. Now that the nights are getting colder, a trenchcoat is the perfect basic piece that should be found in every wardrobe. I have styled my look with another favourite combination of mine – pencil skirt and snakears. Pencil skirts make every outfit look like super elegant but worn with the most contrasty shoes – sneakers – just make this type of skirt work for me! And of course, every outfit is way more comfortable worn with sneakers – and it’s all about comfort right now for me!
