the casual suit

Eine Zeit lang zählten Blazer zu den absolut wichtigsten Kleidungsstücken in meinem Kasten. T-Shirt, Skinny Jeans und Blazer mit hochgekrämpelten Ärmeln war mein to-go Büro Look (und da bin ich bestimmt nicht alleine) und ich hatte mir eine kleine Sammlung an Blazern in allen möglichen Farben (!) angeschaffen. Irgendwann war es allerdings Zeit diesen Look abzulegen und nach und nach reduzierte sich durch einige Flohmärkte auch die Sammlung meiner Blazer auf ein Minimum – um genau zu sein, auf drei schwarze – für wichtige Meetings will man dann ja doch gewappnet sein. Als ich im Herbst diese sportlich-chice Version aus der Tatjana Catic x BikBok Kollektion bekommen habe, wusste ich aber, dass es bald Zeit für einen Blazer-Look auf dem Blog sein wird. Dazu noch eine locker sitzende Hose und gepaart mit Converse entsteht im handumdrehen ein sportlich-eleganter Look der mich außerdem dazu bringt, meine alten Freunde wieder öfter auszuführen.

There was a time when blazers were part of my signature look and when I wore them in many different colours (!) on a daily basis. Tee, blazer and skinny jeans were my to-go office look and I wore this combo on constant repeat. Until I just wore it one times too many and didn’t touch a blazer for many years. I sold most of my former lovers on fleamarkets and just kept three black ones for important meetings and formal occasions. Back in November I received this sporty yet chic blazer from the Tatjana Catic x BikBok collection and knew immediately that there will be coming a blazer-look soon. So here it is – one of the very rare blazer posts is finally live and I really like this outfit thanks to the loose fit pants and the converse which make the look sporty and elegant at the same time and is perfect for casual office days – a casual suit can never be wrong!
